To be honest, I just don’t feel like I’m getting what I should be out of the foods I consume on a regular basis. I’ve been eating gluten, dairy and soy free for about eighteen years now and the past three years have been a whirlwind. I’ve tried different types of foods, moderated my diet, took foods out and tried supplements. The supplements that I’m on now have helped me the most in regards to energy, strength and fatigue issues but I feel that we should be getting this from the food we eat. I don’t cheat on gluten, dairy or soy because I’m severely allergic but it’s time to make a another change and I’m hoping this one is the last. It’s honestly pretty simple why I’m choosing to do this because this is what I’ve heard from others….
- YES, DO IT!
- You’re going to love it.
- I’ve never felt better
- I feel alive
- I have so much more energy after dumping grains.
- The food tastes great
- If you’re already eating gluten-free there are only a few more moderations
- It kicks ass
- I’m excited for you and can’t wait to hear how you feel
- Your body will change
Well, these are good enough for me and have definitely peaked my interest more than it already has been. I’ve bought some books, I’ve done some research online and I will be asking some questions along the way but it’s the New Year and even though I’m not big on resolutions (because you can do them whenever you want) it does seem like a perfect time to make the transition.
Stay Tuned!

Excited to hear about your experience, Ken! I’ve been curious about trying the Paleo diet myself so I look forward to seeking advice from you and learning from you. Thanks for all your help and support as always!
It’s going to be a transition. So far today I’ve had headaches and have been hungry for most of it. I believe it’s going to be a challenge in the beginning but I need to also curb my appetite a bit. I’m excited for sure and thanks for the kind words Stephanie!
I think even gluten tolerant people should give Paleo a try, because Paleo is all about Real Food. Good luck, and be sure you’re getting enough fat (your main calorie source).
